“Politics Making You Blue?” was my concept as part of a temporary art installation at The Galleries at Cleveland State University. Given strict time, budget, and space constraints, I designed an installation meant to be photographed for Instagram selfies as part of a voter engagement initiative during the 2016 midterm. Each installation was meant to provoke thought in its audience, with this piece exemplifying the statistic that #GrowThe40 represents, that only 40% of eligible voters participate in midterm elections.
