“Love Is…”
Design Show Submission
This poster design was created for a student exhibition titled "Love Is..", in protest to hateful anti-LGBTQ posters found on my University's campus. I decided I wanted to focus on female empowerment, and platonic love shared between women.
“Love is the acceptance and respect of others. I find love being spread between women to be particularly important because women often see each other as enemies in a competition instead of helping one another break out of the wildly impossible expectations for women. Affirming others always makes me feel good, and it’s an expression of love I think we need more of.”
